    The Partnerships Manager is responsible for creating long term value for Guide Dogs SA/NT through understanding markets, deploying effective partnership acquisition strategies, developing valuable networks and building strong internal and external relationships.

    Working closely with the GM Fundraising, Marketing & Communications and the Fundraising and Marketing team, including Business Development, volunteers and people across the organisation, the Partnerships Manager leads a small dedicated team of specialists across the portfolio.  Key areas of responsibility include:

    • developing and implementing acquisition plans for relevant fundraising streams;
    • leading relationship building and management across corporate, community, government and non-government funding bodies;
    • representing GDSA/NT at the national level for relevant programs including contributing to national project teams;
    • developing, implementing and evaluating operational plans and budgets for all relevant streams aligning to organisational strategies;
    • leading, supporting and developing team members to build capability and succession.

    Applications are invited from self-motivated professionals with demonstrated experience in new partner acquisition, partnership management and business development.  High level interpersonal skills, a collaborative approach, the ability to readily establish credibility and the ability to prioritise and manage in a multi-faceted role will be key to success.  A genuine affinity with the work of Guide Dogs and the passion and drive to contribute to the ongoing success of the organisation is paramount.
