For more than 25 years, Endeavour College in Mawson Lakes has thrived as a leading Christian co-educational secondary school, educating young people from years 7-12 under the umbrella of the Lutheran Church.  With 750 students and around 120 staff, the College is a member of Connected Schools offering a seamless K-12 education experience.

Working closely with the Principal and Deputy Principal, the Head of Senior School plays a significant role in the strategic leadership of Endeavour College as a member of the College Leadership team.  Responsibilities of this diverse educational leadership role include:

• maintaining a positive and constructive learning environment for senior students and modelling and leading spiritual development in daily practice at the College;
• leading, mentoring, motivating, developing and managing the senior school staff;
• overseeing the day to day operations of the senior school of nearly 400 students;
• ensuring development of pastoral programs and restorative practices relevant to the Senior School;
• overseeing the College Captains and Student Leaders;
• working closely with other College leaders to ensure effective implementation of the Pastoral Care program.

Applications are encouraged from appropriately qualified and experienced educational leaders with pedagogical and pastoral credibility, complemented by superior communication skills, drive, energy, warmth, initiative and vision necessary for a multi-dimensional role at this level.  A genuine affinity with Christian schooling and preparedness to contribute to the wider school community is also important.
