    For more than 25 years, Endeavour College in Mawson Lakes has thrived as a leading Christian co-educational secondary school, educating young people from years 7-12 under the umbrella of the Lutheran Church.  With 750 students and around 120 staff, the College is a member of Connected Schools offering a seamless K-12 education experience.

    With a vision to educate the whole person – academically, spiritually, physically, socially and emotionally, and a strong sense of community and inclusivity, the College creates a vibrant learning community that values diversity.

    Reporting to the Principal, the Head of People & Culture works closely with the Principal and Executive Team in the leadership and management of the College’s people and culture function, by providing a range of expertise and developing new systems and procedures to meet the operational and strategic goals of the College.  This strategic and operational role will work collaboratively to oversee all aspects of the people and culture function.  Key areas of responsibility include:

    • strategic HR management, IR/ER and culture development;
    • training and development policy and programs;
    • attraction, recruitment and retention strategies and systems;
    • talent management and workforce planning;
    • remuneration, benefits and HR compliance;
    • organisational development and change management initiatives;
    • leadership and development of a small student services/HR admin team.

    Applications are invited from senior HR professionals with relevant tertiary qualifications and proven experience building purposeful people and culture capability, partnering and frameworks. Team leadership experience, or the readiness to step into a leadership role, IR/ER, policy development, workforce planning, leadership and culture development experience will be important.

    Education sector experience, or a comparable human services domain will be well regarded. Authenticity, agility, engaging leadership, highly effective interpersonal skills and strategic thinking capabilities are important qualities for success.
