    Reporting to the Director Business Transformation, this newly created position will play a pivotal role in driving the successful implementation of new financial modules as part the cloud eco-system within the City of Salisbury.  Working closely with the Technology and Digital Solutions team, other Divisions and a broad range of stakeholders, responsibilities include:

    • charting the course for successful implementation in an agile methodology;
    • leading the team through documentation optimisation of pre/post processes and user story requirements to deliver quality outcomes enabled by technology;
    • implementing and embedding the new financial solution within agreed timeframes and budget;
    • collaborating with agile delivery teams and internal and external stakeholders to plan and execute full lifecycle delivery of assigned objectives;
    • managing a network of complex relationships and risks across multiple modules for the project, including the preferred partners’ Project Manager;
    • optimising the new finance solution to align with Council’s financial requirements;
    • facilitating finance transformation workshops to enhance financial processes, reporting and systems;
    • ensuring project plans, and vendors are managed as required for the finance stream of the Project.

    Ideally CA/CPA qualified with a strong finance or accounting background, you will have a proven track record of implementing similar financial systems in a comparable medium to large and diverse organisation. Exceptional project management skills and experience working across various project methodologies (agile scrum, kanban and/or waterfall/Prince2) are important. Your ability to lead, inspire and empower a multi-disciplinary team to make considered decisions and achieve outcomes, together with exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills will be critical to success.
