    Our client, a highly respected and established independent school, is seeking an accomplished educational professional to lead a range of academic programs and pathways.  Reporting directly to the Deputy Principal and working closely with the Executive Leadership Team, this newly configured role will take responsibility for:

    • managing and overseeing student examinations and external testing;
    • managing and co-ordinating SACE submissions and data entry of students, teachers and subjects;
    • organising and facilitating student and family meetings for subject selection in Years 7-12;
    • overseeing NAPLAN, EIF, AIF and career education programs;
    • liaising with tertiary entities and industry stakeholders to keep abreast of developments in professional, vocational and educational pathways;
    • overseeing the work experience program and administration.

    Applications are welcome from suitably qualified, experienced and registered educational professionals with the well developed leadership, strategic thinking, communication and stakeholder relationship building skills required to be successful in such a role.  Equally valued, will be strong compliance skills, a proactive orientation, and an innovative, forward-thinking and technologically savvy approach to instituting change and leading improvement across academic programs.  It is envisaged that the appointee will have extensive experience and pedagogical credibility regarding SACE and VET and will also undertake a circa 0.6 teaching load in their area of academic expertise.
