    Based at the significant Two Wells production facility and reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Packhouse Maintenance Manager oversees the effective management and coordination of maintenance activities, ensuring the functionality, reliability, and efficiency of packaging equipment.  Key responsibilities include:

    • lead and develop a small team of technicians, ensuring effective training and support to drive maintenance performance through collaboration;
    • ensure unscheduled equipment faults are addressed and resolved promptly to minimise downtime and ensure smooth Packhouse operations;
    • use MEX maintenance software to record and monitor equipment breakdowns, spare parts consumption, and other maintenance activities;
    • manage and track KPIs relating to Service Efficiency Ratio (SER) and Total Equipment Reliability (TER), ensuring performance targets are met;
    • liaise with Packhouse management to ensure all equipment is running effectively and efficiently and address operational concerns related to equipment performance in order to meet production goals;
    • oversee fault finding, repairs, and ongoing maintenance of automation and packaging equipment to ensure maximum uptime and operational efficiency;
    • manage external contractors and maintenance activities within the allocated budget, ensuring efficient use of resources while minimising costs.

    Applications are encouraged from experienced and suitably qualified maintenance engineers/leaders with relevant supervisory experience gained in a manufacturing environment, preferably with a background in food manufacturing or a highly comparable industry.  Experience with PLC, AutoCAD, and SCADA systems would be advantageous.  You will have a proven track record in managing preventative maintenance activities, third-party contractor relationships, and driving continuous improvement.  Leading with humility, calmness and respect, you will demonstrate highly effective team and operational leadership and problem-solving skills, well-developed communication and project and budget planning abilities.
