For over 40 years, Thomas More College in Salisbury Downs has flourished as a leading Catholic co-educational secondary school, educating young people from Years 7-12.  With approx. 1,200 students and 160 dedicated staff, the College is committed to fostering a vibrant and inclusive community.  As it continues to thrive and grow, the College is delivering an exciting new capital development program to further enhance the educational environment and support its mission of providing a holistic and faith-based education.  Enrolments have increased over 30% in a five year period, and the College is a commensurate place with the development of a master plan to support this growth.  It’s an exciting time to join the College in a key leadership role.

Reporting to the Principal and as a member of the ELT, the responsibilities of this diverse business services role include:

• managing the financial aspects of the College in conjunction with the Principal, Board and Executive Team;
• providing financial advice to management relating to College operations;
• ensuring the College maintains compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements;
• ensuring College facilities including buildings, grounds, equipment and other assets are well maintained;
• overseeing the data integrity of the College’s information management systems and managing ICT services;
• leading, developing and managing a dedicated team across finance, people and culture, marketing and communications, facilities/property, ICT and front office support.

Applications are encouraged from qualified and experienced business professionals (CPA/CA highly desired) with strong commercial acumen and the experience to lead a diverse business support services portfolio.  Excellent stakeholder relationship skills, proven people leadership, engagement and development experience, innovative thinking, drive, and energy are essential.
