Reporting to the Dean of Senior Years (10-12), the Head of House works closely with the Dean and the Head of Barr Smith Campus in fostering a nurturing environment for students through supportive relationships, systems and structures that ensure the highest levels of pastoral care. Key areas of responsibility include:
Applications are invited from emerging or proven school leaders with experience in wellbeing methodology and current teaching practice. Appropriate tertiary qualifications, registration or ability to gain registration to teach in South Australia, current Working with Children Check (WWCC), highly developed interpersonal skills, innovative thinking skills complemented by warmth, diplomacy and professionalism will be important. A genuine commitment to girls’ education and affinity with the vision of Seymour College will be vital.
